In this online workshop, participants will get an overview of the funding possibilities for postdocs within the Marie S.-Curie Actions (MSCA) and the European Research Council (ERC) Starting and Consolidator Grants.
Description
The Marie S.-Curie Actions (MSCA) of the European Commission offer several possibilities for researchers to obtain funding for their research projects. The Postdoctoral Fellowships gives young researchers the opportunity to work on a chosen research project at a high-level research institution in an EU Member State, Associated Country or a Third Country for one or two years.
The second part of the session will look at the Starting and Consolidator Grant Schemes of the European Research Council (ERC). Starting Grants (2-7 years after PhD) and Consolidator Grants (7-12 years after PhD) are aimed at promising younger researchers, still developing their independent research career, by funding a large research group over five years.
