Information Session: Postdoc funding options at UBT and abroad (Doctoral Candidates & Postdocs+)

The Office of Research Support invites advanced doctoral candidates and postdoctoral fellows  (with affiliation to  UBT) to the workshop “Postdoc funding options at UBT and abroad (Doctoral Candidates & Postdocs+)”. This information session is aimed at advanced Phd students and researchers at the beginning of their postdoc phase. During the event, we will give you an overview and orientation on currently available funding lines for the postdoc phase, both at UBT or going abroad.

We will look at German and European funding agencies as well as funding from the state of Bavaria and relevant foundations.

In particular, we will look at:

• Individual research grants of DFG

• DFG Walter Benjamin programme

• DFG Emmy Noether programme

• DFG Heisenberg programme

• Research projects of the Fritz Thyssen Foundation

• Humboldt postdoctoral fellowship

• Feodor-Lynen postdoctoral fellowship

• Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action Postdoctoral Fellowship

• ERC Starting Grant and ERC Consolidator Grant
