Reliable support for researchers.

Outstanding research requires optimal conditions. At the Research Support Office, we advise and support researchers from all disciplines at the University of Bayreuth in applying for and conducting their externally funded research projects. We accompany you from the initial project idea to the submission of the final application and support you after approval in close cooperation with the other administrative departments.

The range of research funding on offer is large and often confusing. We clear up the chaos for you with an overview of the most common funding programmes as well as our internal UBT funding. We also present the most important and interesting science awards.

The team at the Research Support Office advises you from the initial idea for a research project to the application with cost planning and supporting letters. Post-grant we connect you with the responsible services in the financing, personnel and legal departments at UBT.
