Funding Database ELFI
What is ELFI?
Members of the University of Bayreuth can access the ELFI funding database (Servicestelle für ELektronische Forschungsförder-Informationen/Electronic Research Funding Information System) and search through all funding opportunities free of charge. To do so, you simply have to register when you visit the database for the first time.
Announcements can be filtered by selecting fields, funding types, institutions, and national or international funding organizations using the column on the left-hand side. You can also create your own individualized search profile. ELFI displays funding institutions and programmes and provides a summary, addresses, contacts, and deadlines for each funding option. Use the "Search" function to look for key words.

Setting the preferred language
You have the possibility to display all categories of the ELFI database in English. Users whose preferred language in the browser is already English will automatically receive access to the English version of ELFI. If you have chosen German as your preferred language and want to change this setting, please change the language setting of your browser. Using Mozilla Firefox, this setting can be found under: Extras / Settings / Content / Languages. In order for ELFI to appear in English in the future, you have to reload the page in your browser.
